This simulator flashes a nearby and a distant Type Ia supernova side by side, integrates the real flat-ΛCDM comoving-distance and luminosity-distance formulas for the chosen redshift, and plots both light curves live so you can watch the distant one stretch. A toggle switches to the historical "tired light" alternative — which predicted no time dilation at all — so you can see exactly which prediction real supernova surveys confirmed.
