Instead of a one-shot kinetic impactor or a slowly-tugging gravity tractor, this simulator models a third real planetary-defense strategy: bonding a large reflective sail to a hazardous near-Earth asteroid and steering continuous solar radiation pressure to reshape its orbit years before a predicted Earth encounter. Adjust sail area, reflectivity, asteroid size and the sail's steering (cone) angle, choose whether the tangential thrust pushes posigrade or retrograde, and watch the physically-grounded force law drive a live-integrated semi-major-axis drift and a projected miss-distance shift at the encounter — the same "slow push" family of techniques studied by NASA and ESA alongside DART-style kinetic impacts.
