Every uncrewed spacecraft carries flight software whose only job is to keep the vehicle alive when nobody on the ground is watching in real time. This simulator models the core of that safety layer: limit-checking on key telemetry (bus temperature, battery voltage, attitude rate), a debounce hold timer that filters transient blips from real faults, and the autonomous safing sequence — sun-pointing attitude, load shedding, low-gain antenna acquisition — that fires once a violation persists. Inject a fault, tune the debounce window, and watch the 3D vehicle model slew itself into its protective safe attitude exactly as onboard FDIR (Fault Detection, Isolation and Recovery) logic would.
