Space life-support hardware — water-recovery distillation loops, CO2 scrubbers, closed-loop air recyclers — rarely stays a spaceflight-only product. Before it can be licensed for a terrestrial disaster-relief kit, a submarine, or a remote clinic, it has to climb all nine Technology Readiness Levels, each separated by a validation gate that can send an underfunded or under-tested design back a level. This simulator renders that pipeline as a real 3D gate ladder: modules travel toward each gate and a logistic pass-probability model — driven by your funding rate against the gate's rigor — decides whether they advance, stall, or drop back a level, while a running tally shows cumulative R&D spend against the net present value actually captured once a module reaches TRL 9 and spins off into your chosen terrestrial market.
