Building a spacecraft life-support system is a project-management problem as much as an engineering one: eleven interdependent tasks — from requirements and long-lead procurement through subsystem fabrication, integration and vacuum-chamber qualification — each carry duration uncertainty, and a single slipped critical-path task delays flight acceptance. This simulator lays out the real dependency network as a 3D Gantt-style diagram driven by the Critical Path Method, then runs a Monte Carlo schedule-risk analysis: thousands of trials sample every task's duration from a triangular (PERT) distribution and re-computes the project finish date, building a live histogram of outcomes. Adjust the duration-uncertainty multiplier, trial count and target deadline to see how schedule risk — not just the nominal plan — should drive project decisions.
