Every crewed cabin off-gasses trace volatile organics from plastics, adhesives, coatings and crew metabolism, and this simulator models the two-stage air treatment loop that keeps them below safety limits: a charcoal adsorption bed that loads and eventually saturates, and a high-temperature catalytic oxidizer that burns the lighter gases the charcoal can't hold. Tune crew size, airflow rate and oxidizer temperature and watch a live 3D recirculation loop, a Langmuir-style bed-loading model and Arrhenius oxidation kinetics drive the cabin's trace-contaminant concentration up or down against a SMAC-style compliance limit — then press regenerate to desorb the bed to vacuum, exactly as real ECLSS charcoal canisters are cycled.
