Geostationary Slot Coordination Simulator

The 1967 Outer Space Treaty bans national sovereignty claims over the geostationary belt but never says who gets to park a satellite where — that gap was filled by ITU coordination procedure, built around a single quantity: the angular separation between neighboring satellites. This simulator places operators around a real-scale geostationary ring (42,164 km radius, one Earth-day period) and computes the carrier-to-interference ratio a ground dish would see between every pair, using the ITU-R S.580 reference antenna pattern. File slots at the standard 2° coordination arc and the ring stays clean; squeeze in an uncoordinated "paper satellite" and watch a pair's C/I collapse below the threshold operators need for a usable downlink.
