Kessler Orbital Debris Cascade

This simulator visualizes low-Earth-orbit debris as a flat, top-down field: dots trace circular orbit tracks around a central Earth, each moving at the angular speed its altitude dictates under Kepler's third law. When two tracks cross at the same moment, the objects collide and shatter into new fragments that seed further tracks — the same runaway feedback loop known as Kessler syndrome. Tune launch rate, fragmentation and active-debris-removal rate to see whether the field settles into a stable population or spirals into an unmanageable cascade.
