Genuine Three.js companion to the 2D Solar System Orbits simulation
Kepler's Laws
1. Law of orbits: planets move on elliptical paths with the Sun at one focus (this build uses each planet's real orbital eccentricity ≈ 0, i.e. near-circular, exactly like the 2D original).
2. Law of areas: a planet's radius vector sweeps equal areas in equal time.
3. Law of periods: T² ∝ a³ — angular speed = 2π / period, identical formula to the 2D canvas.

Gravity
Newton's law: F = G·m₁·m₂ / r²
Gravity falls off with the square of distance, which is what keeps every orbit here stable and periodic.
💡 The Sun holds 99.86% of the Solar System's total mass.
