This is a 2D single-plane companion to the 3D LEO-PNT convergence simulator. A slow-moving MEO GNSS ring (GPS Block III / Galileo FOC / GLONASS-K2 / BeiDou-3 class, ~12 h orbits) and a fast-moving LEO augmentation ring (~97 min orbits) sweep around a fixed receiver on a flat orbital-plane diagram. A live 2D geometry-dilution-of-precision calculation and a simplified information-accumulation model show position uncertainty converging in real time. Toggle LEO augmentation on or off, adjust satellite counts, elevation mask and time acceleration, and watch the time-to-a-1-metre-fix readout to see why low-orbit augmentation satellites — proposed for future multi-GNSS PNT layers — can shrink convergence time from tens of minutes to under a minute by sweeping through fresh geometry far faster than any MEO constellation can.
