ECLSS Spares Provisioning Cost Curve (2D)

The 3D version of this simulator sizes spares racks for five ECLSS line items at once against a single reliability target. This 2D companion isolates one component and turns the underlying economics into a chart: a Poisson demand distribution built from mean time between failures and mission duration feeds directly into a total-expected-cost curve across every candidate spares count. Drag the MTBF, duration, unit-cost and stockout-cost sliders and watch both panels update live — the demand histogram reshapes, the cost curve's minimum slides left or right, and the optimal spares count N* is read straight off the bottom of that curve rather than assumed. Hover anywhere on the cost chart to see the exact spares-cost / stockout-cost split at that stock level.
