Runaway Greenhouse Limit — Parameter-Space Map (2D)

This is the 2D companion to the 3D Runaway Greenhouse Limit simulator, and it models the identical physics: the Simpson–Nakajima saturation of outgoing longwave radiation that sets the inner edge of a star's habitable zone. Rather than watching one planet orbit one star, this version renders the entire orbital-distance-versus-CO2-loading parameter space as a live stability field, computed pixel-by-pixel from the same absorbed-flux and OLR equations, with an independently-derived analytic boundary curve overlaid on top of it and an OLR-versus-temperature inset showing exactly where the current parameters sit relative to the ceiling.
