The Shape of a Story: Freytag's Dramatic Arc

Every story has a shape — tension that rises through complications toward a climax, then falls to resolution. This simulator renders that shape as a real 3D ribbon built from Gustav Freytag's Pyramid: an asymmetric rising-then-falling tension curve you shape yourself by dragging the climax's position, the peak conflict intensity, and the number of rising-action complications. An amber reader marker travels the ribbon at a pace you control, naming the current act (Exposition, Rising Action, Climax, Falling Action, Resolution) and reporting live tension and narrative velocity as it goes — turning an abstract literary-theory diagram into something you can watch move.
