This is the same confirmation-bias feedback loop as the 2D version — ambiguous, mostly-explainable field evidence updated with a Bayesian rule that over-weights whatever already agrees with current belief — rendered as physical terrain instead of a line chart. The space of possible beliefs, from certain skeptic to certain believer, is a landscape the marker ball always rolls downhill across. Confirming evidence particles carve a deeper well on the side the ball already leans toward; disconfirming particles barely touch the opposite side. Watch the terrain reshape itself in real time as the ball slides into an increasingly steep, self-reinforcing well — entrenchment made visible as topology, not just as a number.
