Grain-Adaptive Robotic Wood Planer

Real wood grain wanders — it rarely runs perfectly straight along a board. A fixed-angle blade slices cleanly where its skew happens to line up with the fiber direction, and tears splinters loose everywhere else. This simulation models a robotic planer head that reads the local grain angle a short distance ahead of the cutting edge and continuously rotates the blade to track it, the same closed-loop vision-to-actuator pattern used on real automated jointers and planers. Toggle adaptive tracking off to watch a fixed-skew blade fight the same wavy grain, adjust feed rate and cut depth, and grow a fresh board to test a new random grain pattern.
