Hazmat Dosing Arm: Gas-Triggered E-Stop

A chemically-rated robotic arm ferries a corrosive reagent from a storage rack to a reactor vessel on a smooth, jerk-limited trajectory, dosing a set volume each cycle. A gas sensor near the reactor watches for a leak; the moment the reading crosses the safety threshold, the motion controller abandons whatever it was doing and drives the arm through a fast retract-to-home interlock sequence — the same override logic a real safety PLC uses on a chemical-handling robot cell — before resuming once ventilation clears the air.
