Cobot Power & Force Limiting Safety Zone

Collaborative robots (cobots) are allowed to work directly alongside people, without a safety cage, only because their contact forces are engineered to stay under biomechanical injury thresholds. This simulator models that engineering budget from ISO/TS 15066: a 3D cobot arm reaches toward a chosen region of a human figure, and a spring-mass collision model computes the peak transient impact force from the reduced mass of arm and body plus their combined contact stiffness, or — in quasi-static clamping mode — simply reports the robot's own configured force limit. Adjust approach speed, reflected mass, end-effector stiffness and the target body region, then run the contact test to see whether the resulting force stays under that region's biomechanical limit.
