Nanorobot Swarm 2D: Communication Range & Task Allocation

A decentralized swarm of nanorobots has no central controller — every decision to commit to a job must be made locally, from information that may have travelled several robot-to-robot hops across a short-range communication network. This 2D top-down simulator renders that network live: tune the communication range to watch the swarm's connectivity fragment or knit back together, tune the response threshold to see how cautiously robots commit to a relayed task signal, and watch workers converge on one of three task beacons, complete it, and move on — the same distributed sensing, relaying and response-threshold allocation studied in real swarm-robotics and stigmergy research, now laid flat on a plane with a live connectivity history strip beneath it.
