This simulator models how radioactive contamination spreads across a landscape after a release: particles carry activity downwind, settle onto a terrain grid, and build up a surface dose-rate field you can watch update cell by cell in real time. Switch between a short-lived isotope like Iodine-131 and a long-lived one like Caesium-137 to see how radioactive decay reshapes contamination over days versus decades, track live dose-rate, contaminated-area and cumulative-dose readouts at a fixed monitoring point, and remediate the worst hotspots by simulating topsoil removal — the same triage real environmental-response teams use after a radiological incident.
