Quantum-repeater links don't just need entangled pairs — they need high-fidelity ones, and every elementary link picks up noise from photon loss and imperfect memories. This simulation renders the BBPSSW recurrence purification protocol that repeater nodes run to fix that: pairs of noisy Bell pairs are combined two-by-two with a bilateral CNOT and a comparison measurement, probabilistically distilling fewer, cleaner pairs out of many noisy ones. Set the raw fidelity and purification depth, step through rounds (or let it auto-run), and watch the real trade-off a quantum internet has to budget for — fidelity goes up, but so does the exponential number of raw pairs consumed per surviving one.
