Spin Qubit Exchange Coupling

Two electron spins trapped in neighbouring gate-defined quantum dots form a "singlet-triplet" qubit whose splitting is set purely electrically, by the Heisenberg exchange interaction J between the spins. This simulator diagonalizes the real two-level charge Hamiltonian of a double quantum dot to compute J(ε) as a function of interdot detuning and tunnel coupling, then evolves the resulting singlet-triplet Bloch vector under J together with an external field gradient ΔBz, reproducing the exchange-oscillation and two-axis control scheme used in real singlet-triplet spin-qubit devices.
