Quantum Dot Multiplexed Barcode Imaging

Real multiplexed diagnostic assays encode information optically: a microbead is loaded with a precise combinatorial ratio of several quantum-dot emission colors, turning it into a spectral barcode that a detector can read alongside thousands of others in one pool. This simulator renders a 3D field of such beads, each with a genuine combinatorial code drawn from L intensity levels across C spectral channels (capacity L^C − 1), and runs a live nearest-code decoder against every bead's noisy detector reading. Adjust the channel count and level count to grow the code space, dial in detector noise to model photon shot noise and spectral crosstalk between adjacent quantum-dot emission peaks, and watch decode accuracy fall as codes pack closer together in intensity space than the noise floor allows.
