Microwave-to-Optical Quantum Transduction

A quantum computing "ecosystem" spans superconducting chips (GHz microwave qubits) and fiber-optic quantum networks (THz optical photons) — two hardware platforms that cannot talk to each other directly. This simulator renders the electro-optomechanical transducer that bridges them: a shared phonon mode couples to a microwave port with cooperativity Ce and to an optical port with cooperativity Co. Adjust both cooperativities and each port's external coupling efficiency to see the impedance-matching condition (Ce = Co) drive the conversion efficiency toward unity, while unmatched or lossy settings scatter incoming microwave photons into the mechanical bath instead of converting them.
