Quantum Portfolio Optimizer (QAOA)

This simulator encodes a five-asset portfolio-selection problem into a five-qubit register and runs the real Quantum Approximate Optimization Algorithm on its exact 32-dimensional statevector — no shortcuts, no lookup tables. Each of the 32 bars around the ring is one candidate portfolio (which subset of the five assets to hold); its height is the true Born-rule probability |⟨z|ψ⟩|² after however many alternating cost/mixer layers you've applied. Tune the cost angle γ, mixer angle β, number of layers, and a mean-variance risk-aversion parameter λ, then step through the circuit or auto-run it to watch probability mass concentrate on the best-scoring portfolio — the same alternating-unitary mechanism that IBM, Rigetti, and Google run on real superconducting qubits for combinatorial optimization problems like this one.
