Same model as the 3D version: each particle lands where the Born-rule probability |psi|^2 of the summed slit waves says it can. Coherence below 1 mimics a which-path detector (probabilities add, fringes fade). Fringe spacing = lambda L / d. Geometry is scaled up for display.
