🔘 Coulomb Diamond Stability Diagram: a Quantum Dot SET

This is the 2D-native counterpart to the 3D single-electron-transistor simulator: instead of a physical mock-up with flying electron spheres, it draws the two plots an actual SET measurement produces. The top panel is a real steady-state solution of the birth–death master equation over the dot's integer charge states, rendered as a live heatmap in the (gate charge, bias voltage) plane — the classic Coulomb-diamond stability diagram. The bottom panel runs a genuine single-trajectory Gillespie Monte Carlo of the same rates in real time, plotted as a scrolling telegraph signal of the dot's charge n(t) with tick marks for every stochastic tunneling event. Drag inside the diamond plot to sweep the operating point and watch both the analytic steady state and the live stochastic trace respond together.
