Physical qubit tile (rendered, capped)
Each tile ≈ 1 qubit(s)
Every claim about quantum computers threatening RSA or ECC encryption hides a hardware bill: Shor's algorithm needs real logical qubits, and every logical qubit needs a surface-code patch of many noisy physical qubits underneath it. This 2D companion to the 3D resource estimator makes that bill explicit with the same underlying math — pick an RSA key size and a physical gate error rate, and watch it compute the logical qubit count, the surface-code distance required to hit a target success probability, the physical-to-logical overhead, and the grand total physical qubit count, rendered as a flat grid of glowing surface-code tiles and checked against IBM's own public qubit-count roadmap.
