Visible matter only (Keplerian)
Observed (real, flat)
Current halo fraction
This 2D top-down simulator models the same galactic-dynamics evidence for dark matter as the 3D version: a spiral galaxy's disk with marker stars orbiting at several radii, driven by a real astrophysical mass model (an exponentially-saturating visible mass profile against a Keplerian speed law, and the actual flat rotation-speed law measured for spiral galaxies like the Milky Way). Instead of a simple on/off halo toggle, a halo mass fraction slider blends in invisible mass continuously from 0% (pure visible-matter Keplerian falloff) to 100% (the full observed flat curve), while a live graph and readouts show the predicted, current and observed orbital speed and the exact dark matter mass required within the selected radius.
