The Math of Territories
The diagram divides space into 'cells'. Each point within a cell is closer to its own 'seed' (center) than to any other.
Distance Metrics:
- Euclidean: Straight line (ordinary world). Circular shapes.
- Manhattan: Movement only along the vertical/horizontal axis (like a taxi in a city). Rhomboid shapes.
- Chebyshev: How a king moves in chess. Square shapes.
