Marbles roll continuously along a spiraling tube-and-ramp track, gaining speed on descents and slowing on rises according to the local slope of the path. Each marble loops back to the start of the spiral once it reaches the bottom, so the run never ends. A separate decorative lift tube visually represents the marbles' return to the top.
