Icicles Dripping

Icicles slowly lengthen along a frosty roofline, dripping water droplets that fall and splash below. Each of the 10 icicles is a single revolved lathe-geometry profile (a tapered radius curve with a subtle sine ripple) scaled along Y over time to fake continuous growth without regenerating geometry every frame. Icicles and droplets both use a MeshPhysicalMaterial with transmission and clearcoat to approximate real ice refraction, while a light-scattering FogExp2 volume and 500 drifting snow points give the scene atmospheric depth. When a droplet's fall reaches the ground plane it is removed and replaced with a short-lived point-particle splash burst driven by simple per-particle gravity and velocity vectors.
