Worm Garden Foraging Lab: Correlated Random Walk & Search Theory (2D)

This 2D companion turns the 3D garden diorama's wandering-and-eating worms into a testable search-theory model: each worm is simulated as an active Brownian particle with a real rotational-diffusion coefficient, and its statistical predictions — the closed-form mean-squared-displacement curve and the exponential food-depletion curve from random-search encounter theory — are plotted live against what the population of worms is actually doing, so you can watch the math hold up (or visibly break down once the worms run into the garden's walls or run out of leaves).
