Chamber pressure trace
This 2D companion drives a magma-chamber mass balance and Hagen–Poiseuille conduit discharge from the same four levers a volcanologist actually turns — supply rate, conduit radius, viscosity and gas content — rather than orbiting a decorative 3D cone: a cross-section shows the chamber pressurising, the conduit draining, and gas slugs (Taylor bubbles rising at 0.35√(gD)) periodically bursting through the vent, while a live strip chart and a Sparks/Mastin plume-height → Newhall–Self VEI readout turn every burst into a number you can watch rise and fall in real time.
