This 2D companion swaps the 3D scene for a plain side-view rig: a wrecking ball on a real pendulum arm, released at an angle you set, whose fall converts height into impact speed through energy conservation. The resulting kinetic energy is absorbed by a spring-crumple model of the car body, so peak force and structural damage respond honestly to mass, material stiffness and where on the car the hit lands.
