Pulsar Neutron Star (2D)
Top-down schematic of a pulsar: two radiation beams, tilted away from the spin axis, sweep around as the collapsed core spins. A fixed observer line points straight up the screen — whenever a beam's cone crosses it, the star flashes and a pulse is logged, exactly like the periodic radio blips astronomers detect from real pulsars.
