Shubnikov–de Haas Oscillations (2D)

This is the 2D-canvas counterpart to the 3D Fermi-sphere version: instead of Landau tubes sweeping through a Fermi sphere, a real 2D electron gas' energy spectrum collapses onto a discrete Landau-level ladder, and this simulator draws the ladder directly — a live Landau-fan diagram of E_n(B) crossing the Fermi energy — while numerically building the broadened density of states at E_F from those same levels and plotting the resulting ρxx vs 1/B oscillation. Sliders for magnetic field, carrier density, temperature and disorder drive both plots together, and the simulator continuously checks its own simulated oscillation period in 1/B against the exact Onsager formula Δ(1/B) = 2e/(h·ns) so you can see the numerics and the textbook physics agree.
