Training programme - 2D

Scenario

A cohort of 64 employees. Each training session raises mastery P by (1 - P)(1 - exp(-k)), k = alpha x hours x aptitude x engagement. Between sessions the learned part fades as retention R = exp(-t / S) (Ebbinghaus forgetting curve) down to a floor of 15 %. Each session multiplies memory strength S by 1 + g x (0.25 + 3 R (1 - R)): spaced practice at partial forgetting helps most (spacing effect). Benefit = value x transfer x skill gained per day; ROI = (benefit - cost) / cost (Phillips). Costs: working time at 35 EUR per learner-hour plus trainers and licences. All method parameters are illustrative assumptions, not measured data.
