How it works

The cutaway shows four palletised stacks inside a 20ft export container. Honey colour and the cold-chain status label follow the same temperature curve real export shipments do: pale, grainy crystallisation below roughly 10°C, clear amber through the export sweet spot (10–25°C), and darkening toward fermentation risk above ~32°C as HMF and yeast activity rise. A reefer unit actively holds the set point; a standard dry container has no active cooling, so the same ambient reading pushes further into risk territory.

Packaging format — jars, pails and drums carry very different tare/gross weight per pallet and different unit counts per layer.
Pallet layers — more layers means more units per pallet footprint, but a taller stack under ISPM-15 wood-pallet rules.
Frost / heat particles — appear near freezing or above 30°C as a quick visual cue of thermal stress on the load.
