Frisbee Flight: Lift, Gyroscopic Precession & Spin Decay (2D)

This 2D companion strips the 3D frisbee scene down to the flight mechanics that actually drive it: an angle-of-attack-dependent lift/drag model (v² aerodynamics, not a fixed arc), real gyroscopic precession that turns aerodynamic pitching torque into sideways banking because the spinning disc carries angular momentum L = Iω, spin-rate decay from air drag, and the resulting tumble once ω falls below the stability threshold — five real, independently adjustable parameters (launch speed, launch angle, initial spin, disc mass, disc radius) all feed the same equations, so a low-spin throw visibly wobbles and drops while a fast, flat throw holds a clean banked arc.
