Standing Falling Fallen

Domino Chain — 2D Rigid-Body Toppling Physics

This 2D companion to the 3D Domino Chain sits in true side-view, so gravity is exactly the downward direction you see on screen. Each tile is a rigid rectangle pivoting about the bottom corner nearest its neighbour; a real center-of-mass tipping threshold — the geometric angle at which the tile's mass swings past its own pivot — decides whether an impact makes it fall or just rock back upright. Draw the chain's path yourself by clicking or dragging across a hill you shape as you go: uneven spacing, height jumps and direction reversals all feed directly into the same torque equation the standing tiles obey, so a chain that looks fine can still snap wherever the reach or the geometry genuinely fails.
