This 2D side-view simulator throws a javelin under real lift-and-drag aerodynamics: set the release angle, the initial angle of attack and the release speed, then watch the trajectory unfold left to right against distance markers on the ground. A small angle of attack builds lift and stretches the throw, but as the javelin's nose lags its velocity vector through the arc the angle of attack keeps growing — push it past the stall threshold and the flow separates, drag spikes, and the javelin tumbles out of the sky well short of where a clean throw would land.
