A Rotatable Macro-Ratio Column Chart in Real 3D Space
This companion simulation renders the same protein/fat/carbohydrate formulation math as a genuine 3D scene: three reference columns rise and fall with the live protein, fat and carbohydrate shares, each overlaid with a translucent band showing the species-specific reference range, while an orbiting swarm of "kibble" particles is split and colored in the same proportions as the mix itself.
A balance ring at the base shifts from red through amber to green as the composite distance-from-target score improves, giving an at-a-glance read of how close the formulated mix sits to a workable diet. Drag to orbit the camera around the columns; scroll to zoom; switch species/life stage to see the reference bands and status readouts shift between dog and cat, adult and growth/lactation targets.
Same math, new vantage point
Carb remainder, protein/fat status, and the balance score are computed with the identical formulas as the 2D original — extended with four species/life-stage presets (dog adult, cat adult, dog growth/lactation, cat growth/lactation) that each carry their own AAFCO-style protein and fat minimums and reference bands, so the same slider values can read "Adequate" for one profile and "Low" for another.
