The cyan dot is the decoded cursor: an ideal command toward the magenta target is corrupted by an Ornstein–Uhlenbeck jitter process, delayed by the Latency buffer, then smoothed by an exponential moving-average filter (Precision). High Precision trades responsiveness for stability — exactly the real trade-off in EEG/BCI cursor decoding. The scope below plots the raw vs. filtered X-command over time.
