Neuroplasticity begins at the synapse: repeated, correlated firing between two neurons physically strengthens the connection between them (long-term potentiation), while uncorrelated or inactive pairs drift back down (long-term depression and homeostatic scaling). This simulator makes that rule visible — a small ten-neuron network is stimulated pulse by pulse, its full synaptic weight matrix rendered live as a heatmap below the network diagram, so you can watch structure emerge from nothing but a local, activity-dependent update rule. Switch between correlated and random stimulation, and tune the learning rate and decay to see how quickly (or whether) stable wiring forms.
