Virtual Lesion Simulator 2D: Connectome Graph Lesion-Deficit Mapping

A "virtual lesion" is how computational neuropsychology studies brain damage without harming anyone: take a network model of interconnected brain regions, knock out or weaken a node, and measure how far the network's ability to route signal between task-relevant areas collapses. This 2D graph version builds the same schematic 14-region connectome as its 3D sibling — thalamic relay, fronto-parietal attention hubs, the hippocampal memory loop, and the Broca-Wernicke language pathway — but renders it as a pannable, zoomable node-link diagram so the exact Floyd-Warshall distances and global-efficiency math are always in view alongside a live distance-matrix heatmap and a severity-response curve. Lesion any region at any severity, tune the edge-dropout threshold and pulse hop budget, and watch Attention, Memory or Language performance degrade exactly as network-neuroscience models predict.
