Fireflies in the Night Forest — Sync Lab

Each firefly is a phase oscillator. Flash timing is coupled through a mean-field Kuramoto model — the same math used to explain how real firefly swarms (e.g. Pteroptyx) lock into unison. Turn coupling up and watch the flashes fall into step.
