Beehive Honeycomb Builder (2D)

This 2D simulator shows a honeybee colony packing a round frame with perfectly regular hexagonal wax cells, ring by ring outward from the centre, exactly matching the build order of a real comb. Drag the rings slider to change how large the finished honeycomb is, dial the build-speed slider to speed up or slow down construction, and use pause or reset to study the process at your own pace while the live readout tracks how many of the total cells are finished and how fast they are going up.
