Nanomaterial design is not just a shape you draw — it's a growth process you control. This simulator models vapor–liquid–solid (VLS) chemical vapor deposition, the technique used to grow most catalytically-seeded semiconductor nanowires: a molten metal droplet catalyzes decomposition of a precursor gas, precipitating crystalline material beneath itself and riding upward as the wire elongates. Set the growth temperature, precursor partial pressure and catalyst droplet size, then start the run and watch the wire build itself one atomic layer at a time at an Arrhenius-controlled rate, with live readouts for growth rate, wire length, diameter and layer count.
