MEMS/NEMS Vibratory Gyroscope — Coriolis Mode Coupling (2D)

Vibratory gyroscopes are the working core of every phone, drone and vehicle stability system: a nanoelectromechanical proof mass is driven into resonant oscillation along one axis, and the Coriolis pseudo-force generated by device rotation couples a fraction of that energy into a second, orthogonal "sense" mode whose amplitude is directly proportional to angular rate. This 2D companion simulator integrates the coupled drive/sense mass-spring-damper equations from scratch with a real-time Runge–Kutta solver — nothing is pre-solved — animating the actual x–y trajectory of the proof mass and independently sweeping rotation rate through the same integrator to build a live calibration curve, verifying frame by frame that sense amplitude tracks rotation rate linearly.
