Resonant Tunneling Diode: T(E), I-V & Band Profile

This is the 2D counterpart to the 3D resonant-tunneling-diode model, solving the exact same double-barrier 1-D Schrödinger equation with the transfer-matrix method — computed independently rather than reused — and rendering it as analytic plots instead of a 3D scene: a potential-profile-plus-wavefunction view, a transmission spectrum T(E) showing the resonance peak, and a negative-differential-resistance I-V curve. Drag the barrier height, barrier width and well width to reshape the resonance, then sweep the bias voltage to watch the resonant level cross the emitter's Fermi energy and produce the current-drop that defines real resonant tunneling diodes.
